Momentum & Mission:
Where Redeemer Stands—and the Next Step for Every Household
Twenty-four hours after Sunday’s family meeting 10 of our 35 covenant households have already responded.
That’s 28 % participation in a single day—evidence that the Spirit is stirring real, collective action. Let’s praise God for quick obedience…and let’s keep pressing until every partner has sought the Lord about sacrificial next steps.
Why Your Response Matters
Redeemer has always been more than a Sunday gathering; we are a gospel-centered, disciple-making family of families sent to bless Wichita Falls and the nations.
On Sunday we said it this way: the only fitting answer to the gospel is to “present your bodies as a living sacrifice” (Rom 12 : 1). For Redeemer, that shared sacrifice shows up in three lanes:
1. Daily Prayer for Mission
Set a phone alarm for 10 : 02 a.m. (Luke 10 : 2) and ask the Lord to send laborers and give Redeemer a fruitful witness.
2. First-Fruits, Double-Digit Giving
Move your recurring gift from card to ACH (30 ¢ vs. 2-3 % stripe fees per gift—≈ $3,500 a year back into ministry).
Give 10 % or more of take-home pay as worship, drafted the moment your paycheck lands.
• Already at 10 %? Pray about 12-15 % for one year to stabilize your spiritual home.
• Students: build the habit with $50/mo—two fewer DoorDash runs.
• Households: an extra $225/mo from each of us erases the entire gap.
3. Ongoing Participation
Pray. Serve. Invite. Engage Gospel Community. If we aren’t reaching our city together, we are not answering our calling.
The Bottom-Line Vision in One Glance
Every dollar between those numbers funds the staff who shepherd you, the rent that welcomes newcomers, and the ministries that turn guests into disciples. Regular, predictable ACH gifts move us from survival mode to kingdom momentum.
How to Make the Switch to ACH
A bank-draft (ACH) costs just 30 ¢ per gift, while a credit-card skims 2-3 % in fees—about $3,500 a year we could be using for ministry instead of processing costs. Setup takes the same two minutes online, auto-drafts on payday, and you never have to touch it again. Same click, far more impact.
Tell Us How You’re Sacrificing
We’re not asking everyone for the same dollar amount—we are asking everyone for the same level of sacrifice.
Take 60 seconds to share, in one sentence or a number, how your household will pray, give, and serve in this next season.
Ex. Sacrificial Giving
“Switching to ACH & adding $225/mo.”
“College partner—$50/mo, first-fruits on pay-day.”
“Starting 10 % of take-home pay for the first time.”
Ex. Sacrificial Serving / Participation
“Contacting principals about a rent-free school cafeteria.”
“Praying Luke 10 : 2 daily at 10 : 02 a.m. for laborers.”
“Inviting my coworkers to Gospel Community this month.”
What Happens Next
All responses gathered by Monday, May 5.
Elder Board review the numbers, pray, and map the next twelve weeks.
We’ll report back the following Sunday with clear next steps.
Church, the Lord has never failed us. Let’s discover together what He will do when every member of the body brings a shoulder to the load.
“ And let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works … ” — Hebrews 10 : 24-25
