Meet the Team: Staff Q&A and Your Story

Membership Monday #7

Have you ever wanted a one-on-one conversation to see if Redeemer truly aligns with your spiritual journey? Maybe you have questions you’d rather not ask in a group class, or you simply want to share your personal story on a deeper level. That’s exactly where our Staff Q&A sessions come in!

After you complete the Covenant Partnership Class, we invite you to a relaxed, sit-down meeting with one of our pastors or staff members. Think of it like a coffee chat—no pressure, no formalities. It’s a chance for you to talk about how you came to know Jesus, what you’re passionate about, and where you might be struggling or seeking growth. We love hearing each person’s unique journey, because that’s how we learn to shepherd and support you well. As 1 Peter 5:2 reminds us, church leaders are called to “shepherd the flock of God” willingly and with sincere care. We can’t do that effectively if we don’t first hear and understand your story.

But this Q&A session isn’t just about you sharing—it’s also a space to bring up any questions you have about Redeemer. Maybe you’d like more clarity on our doctrine, or you’re curious how our leadership structure works. Perhaps there’s a specific ministry you feel called to and want to know how to get involved. No topic is off-limits: doctrinal, practical, personal—we’re here to listen, clarify, and cheer you on. After all, if you’re exploring Covenant Partnership, you deserve to know exactly what you’re getting into.

So why do we make this step so personal? Because church membership isn’t merely organizational—it’s relational. We believe in leading from a place of genuine connection, not just policy. When we can put faces to names and hear your hopes, concerns, and testimonies, it lays the groundwork for a true shepherding relationship. This meeting helps us see how best to encourage you on your discipleship journey and how you might use your gifts to bless others.

Here’s your next move: once you’ve finished the Covenant Partnership Class, don’t skip the Q&A. Email olivia@redeemerwf.com or message us via our website to set up a time. We’ll probably grab coffee or chat after a Sunday gathering—whatever works best for you.

Remember, we’re all about relational leadership here at Redeemer. We want to know you and care for you well. Next Monday, we’ll talk about that exciting moment of signing the Covenant Partnership Form—your joyful “yes” to doing life with us in Jesus’ name. We can’t wait to hear your story and walk alongside you on this journey!
