Growing Together: When GCs Multiply

Together Thursday #10

Ever seen a family outgrow its table? It’s a beautiful problem—chairs squeezed tight, elbows bumping, conversations overlapping. But eventually, growth means making room for more.

At Redeemer, Gospel Communities (GCs) are no different. As we share life, grow in Christ, and welcome new faces, our family naturally expands. Acts 2:47 describes this vividly: “And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Genuine community centered on Jesus doesn’t just gather—it grows. And growth means new faces, new stories, and new opportunities to magnify Christ’s love in Wichita Falls.

When a GC multiplies, it’s never division; it’s multiplication. It’s family joyfully making room at the table, so more people can experience the transforming power of Jesus. We celebrate multiplication because it’s proof that Christ is among us—drawing hearts, changing lives, and steadily expanding His Kingdom.

Healthy Gospel Communities expect growth. Every new person represents another unique story being woven into the tapestry of grace. So, when your GC begins to overflow, rejoice! It’s evidence of Jesus moving powerfully among you, creating space for even greater impact.

Is your GC getting crowded? Welcome it. Embrace new faces, knowing every new person is another life Jesus is reaching. If multiplication is on the horizon, step forward boldly—this is how Jesus builds His Church.

Takeaway:
This week, intentionally welcome someone new into your GC. Remember, every new person is an opportunity for Jesus to multiply His grace in and through our community. Jesus multiplies His family—there’s always room for more.
