Week 31: Redeemer GC Lesson
Main Focus: If God’s law is holy and good, yet cannot itself make us holy, how then do we truly obey it?
We die to the law’s demands and belong to Christ, who conquered sin and grants the Holy Spirit. Freed from guilt and empowered by grace, we now delight to keep God’s commands—not to earn His favor, but out of love for the Redeemer who set us free.

Discussion:
In this passage, Paul compares the “ministry of death” carved in letters on stone with the surpassing glory of the Spirit’s ministry under the new covenant. How does this expand on Romans 7’s message that the written law condemns but the Spirit transforms?
What does it mean that we, with unveiled faces, behold the Lord’s glory and are being transformed into His image? How does this connect to the idea of belonging to Christ and obeying out of love?
Application:
Share areas where you once felt condemned by rules alone but have found freedom in Christ and His Spirit.
Pray for one another to gaze on Jesus’ glory (v.18) this week, trusting the Spirit to change you from within rather than striving under law.
