Weekly Discipleship Guide

  • We are made right with God and receive His promises through faith alone—not by following the Law or doing good works. Just like Abraham trusted God and was counted righteous, we too are justified when we trust in Jesus Christ, who died and rose again to save us.

  • This week at Redeemer Church, we turn to Romans 4:13-25, where Paul teaches us that the foundation of our relationship with God is faith, not works. Abraham is presented as the prime example of faith, showing us that righteousness comes through trusting in God’s promises. Just as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness, we too are called to believe in Jesus, who was raised from the dead for our justification. This message reminds us that faith makes us heirs of God’s promises and partakers in His grace, leading us to live in joyful obedience, not out of obligation, but as an act of trust in His faithfulness.
