Weekly Discipleship Guide

  • Christ alone. God’s holy grief provides one gracious refuge—Jesus—who bears judgment for us and brings us safely into new life.

  • Genesis 6 shows God’s piercing sight, His grieving heart, and His holy resolve. The world was soaked in corruption and violence, yet the Lord provided a specific refuge—an ark sealed with a covering—so that grace would carry His people through judgment, not around it.

This week we abandon our “little arks” (control, money, image) and run to the only Door. Jesus is our Ark and our covering; in Him we rest, obey, and invite others in before the rain.

  • *Establish a rhythm of cultivating devotion to Jesus.

    *Commit the catechism to memory.

*Learn and internalize the Bible memory verse.

  • Q-What is our refuge when God’s just judgment comes?

A-Christ alone. God’s holy grief provides one gracious refuge—Jesus—who bears judgment for us and brings us safely into new life.

  • Hebrews 11:7
“By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household.”
