You finish another long day, cross off every task—and still feel like your soul is running on empty. God names that ache in Haggai 1. Judah worked hard on their own houses while God’s house lay forgotten, and satisfaction leaked away “like wages in a bag with holes.” The Spirit is asking us the same question: Are we investing first in what delights God, or in projects that finally disappoint? This week we let Haggai redirect our calendars, budgets, and hearts to the place where labor is never lost—life ordered around God’s dwelling with His people.
