Our sin has brought shame, fear, death, and exile from God.
-
Sin always whispers promises of freedom, but its end is shame, fear, and exile. In Genesis 3 we saw the serpent’s deception, Adam and Eve’s rebellion, and the devastating curse that followed. Yet even in judgment, God spoke a word of hope—the promise of a Seed who would crush the serpent and bring redemption.
This week, as we meditate on Scripture, we’ll trace that promise from the fall to its fulfillment in Christ. Let’s remember that in Him our guilt is covered, our enemy defeated, and our future secured. Because Jesus has crushed the serpent’s head, we are free to put sin to death and walk in joyful obedience as God’s beloved children.
