This week at Redeemer Church, we turn our attention to the remarkable work of the Holy Spirit, revealed from the very first verses of Genesis. In Genesis 1:1–2, we see a world steeped in chaos until God’s Spirit hovers over the waters, bringing order and life. Tragically, sin ruptures humanity’s communion with this life-giving presence (Genesis 3). But thanks be to God—through Christ’s redemptive work, the Spirit is restored to every believer (John 3:5–8; John 20:21–22).
