Discipleship Guide: Week 7

  • We are justified and made righteous before God solely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God presented as a sacrifice of atonement. This righteousness is received through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from any works or adherence to the law.

  • This week at Redeemer Church, we will dive into the heart of the gospel as we explore Romans 3:21-26, where Paul declares that God's righteousness is revealed through faith in Jesus Christ. As we unpack the incredible truth that all humanity has sinned and fallen short of God's glory, we are reminded of the grace that justifies us through Christ's sacrificial death. In Isaiah 53, we see this foretold as Jesus is portrayed as the suffering servant who was pierced for our transgressions, making peace and healing possible through His wounds. Together, these passages show us the depth of God’s love, justice, and mercy. Let us reflect on these truths and rejoice in the redemption we have in Christ.

  • *Establish a rhythm of cultivating devotion to Jesus.
