Weekly Discipleship Guide
-
We practice humility by following Jesus’ example of selfless love, considering others’ needs above our own, and serving without seeking recognition or reward.
-
As we look at John 13:1–15, we see Jesus—fully aware of His authority—stoop low to wash His disciples’ feet. This act powerfully illustrates humility in action: serving others sacrificially. Philippians 2:3–4 echoes the same call, urging us to forsake self-importance and regard others as more significant than ourselves. By humbling ourselves like Jesus, we discover the path to authentic love, a servant’s heart, and the joy of reflecting Christ’s character in every sphere of life.
